Each entry is $3.00 for Open Show and $2.00 for Junior Show. Sale Cages $3.00

Tennessee State law requires that all poultry be negative for pullorum prior to arriving on any show site. Proof of negative test for pullorum must be provided with your entry. For mail-in entries, please include a copy of your test or your NPIP certificate. If you phone in your entry, you must show your papers prior to unloading your birds.

Please note bearded or non-bearded on Silkies or any other variation on a breed.

Show Rules and Regulations

This is a single ABA/APA sanctioned show. Entry fee will $3.00 per bird for Open Show and $2.00 for Juniors.

1.        A display shall consist of a cock, hen, cockerel, pullet and three other entries of the same variety.

2.        The open show and junior competition is open to bantams, large fowl, waterfowl and pigeons.

3.        Entry fee must accompany entry.

4.        Mail entry form and entry fee to: Robin Smith, 416 Reed Road, Summertown, TN 38483 or 931-629-6700 or email robin416@bellsouth.net or chiefcreekfarm@bellsouth.net.

5.        LCPC will not be responsible for losses, accidents, damages. All reasonable care will be taken.

6.        The Show Room will be open Friday, November 9th from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM CST. It will re-open at 6:00 AM CST, Saturday, November 10, 2007.

7.        Judging will begin at 9:00 AM, Saturday. All birds must be in show coops by 8:45AM.

8.        No one is allowed in the aisles during judging, except the judges, clerks and show officials.

9.        No one is allowed to handle any birds, other than their own, unless permission is given by the owner.

10.     No one is allowed to attract the attention of the birds by various means or distract the judge or clerk from their duties.

11.     No sick birds will be allowed in the show room or sale cages. Owners will be asked to remove them.

12.     The LCPC show shall be governed by APA and ABA rules and regulations. Protests will be handled by the Show Committee, consisting of the Show Superintendent, Club President and Club Secretary.

13.     The LCPC reserves the right to add or substitute judges, if necessary.

14.     Coop tags on each coop will display exhibitor numbers only. No names shall be placed on coop tags.

15.     No alcoholic beverages will be allowed in the show room of premises of Rotary Park.

16.     Inside sale cages will be available for $3.00 per hole to exhibitors only from certified PT flocks, limit of 3 birds per hole.

17.     LCPC will provide a sale/swap area outside of the building. Set-up fee is $5.00 per space.

18.     Feed and fresh water will be provided for birds entered into the show.

19.     The TN. Dept. of Agriculture no longer provides a state licensed tester at any of the shows in the State. All birds must have been tested for Pullorum Typhoid, prior to the show. Please provide your certification to the Show Secretary before birds are placed in show coops.

20.     Please do not coop out until awards have been presented.
